3 DIY Baking Mixes – Edible Gifts To Make

As you will already know if you are a baker who follows us I love edible gifts to give at Christmas I think they look good and it is a great way to get people baking , so here for you are 3 jars that you can make so three of your close friends or family can enjoy these edible gifts

These gift jars are to make Oatmeal Scotchies,M&M Cookies and Granola Muffin Mix , which have all been brought to you by Laura in the Kitchen on  YouTube, thanks for sharing these recipes with us

-Oatmeal Scotchies-

(I halved the recipe from what you see in the video because otherwise all of the dry ingredients wouldn’t fit in the jar)

For the Dry Mixture:
1 ½ cups of Oats
1 cup of Butterscotch chips
¼ tsp of Salt
½ tsp Baking Soda
¾ of a tsp of Cinnamon
3/4 of a cup of All Purpose Flour
1/3 of a cup of Brown Sugar
1/3 of a cup of Regular Sugar

To the dry mixture, add the following ingredients, mix together well then scoop out your cookies and bake them in a 375 degree oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly golden brown around the edges.
½ cup of Unsalted Butter softened at room temperature
1 Egg
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract

For the Dry Mixture:
2 cups of Milk Chocolate M&Ms
2 ¼ cups All Purpose Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
¾ of a Cup of Brown Sugar
¾ cup of Granulated Sugar

To the dry mixture, add the following ingredients, mix together well then scoop out your cookies and bake them in a 375 degree oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly golden brown around the edges.
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup of Unsalted Butter softened at room temperature

-Granola Muffin Mix-

1 ½ cups of Granola
1 ½ cups of All Purpose Flour
1 tsp of Baking Powder
1/2 tsp of Salt
¾ cup of Sugar

To the dry mixture, add the following ingredients, mix together well then scoop the batter into a lined muffin pan and bake them in a 350 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until fully cooked through.

½ cup of Vegetable Oil
1 Egg
½ cup of Milk
1 tsp of Vanilla Extract
