4 Delicious Truffle Recipes For The Holidays

There is nothing quite like making your own candy around the festive season either to make for that after  dinner party treat or to give as  homemade presents by placing a few it pretty bags .. I really love to make them myself with the help of a few family members too

 

So when I came across this recipe for 4 different flavours well that was me hooked for this years truffle recipes and I just had to share the recipe on to you guys too

Peanut Butter Truffles
You can substitute any similar ingredient for the peanut butter- similar in viscosity and texture

  • Heavy Cream ½ cup (120ml)
  • 60% Couverture Chocolate 8oz (224g)
  • Creamy Peanut Butter 4 Tablespoons (80g)
  • Miniature Chocolate Chips ½ cup (113g)
  • Dry Roasted *Salted peanuts ½ cup (113g)
  • *optional salted or not salted

 

 

Ginger Truffles

Ingredients
  • Heavy Cream 6 fl oz (177ml)
  • Fresh Grated Ginger Root 1 teaspoon (7g)
  • 70% Couverture Chocolate 8oz (226g)
  • Milk Chocolate Couverture 8oz (226g)
  • Crystallized Ginger 2 Tablespoons *optional ingredient

 

 

Cranberry Truffles
Here you can substitute any canned pie & pastry filling for the cranberry sauce. Or even canned orfresh pumpkin puree with some nice pumpkin pie spice for a fall / Thanksgiving treat
I am using the basic truffle cup chocolate molds for this one, but you can scoop ganache and roll into truffles if you do not want to purchase the molds.

  • Cranberry Sauce 2 Tablespoons (40g) *homemade or store bought
  • Dried Cranberries 3 Tablespoons (36g)

 

 

Pistachio Truffles

  • Finely ground lightly toasted Pistachios 1½ cup (85g)
