How to Make Jack Daniel’s Honey Whiskey Cupcakes

Prepare the cupcake batter by beating sugar, butter, and vanilla extract using a hand mixer until well combined. Add dry ingredients: flour, salt, baking powder, and beat until thoroughly incorporated and then add whiskey and milk. Mix well.

Line your cupcake pan with baking cups and pour 2 tablespoons of batter on each. Bake at 350°F for about 23 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven and let them cool before frosting.

For the frosting, cream the butter and powdered sugar. Add whiskey and vanilla extract and beat again until creamy. Gradually add the whipping cream and continue to beat until blended. Put the frosting in the fridge while making the whiskey honey drizzle.

Melt butter and brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Add whiskey and pinch of salt. Continuously stir and allow the mixture to boil for 5 minutes. Once sugar is dissolved, and the sauce is runny, remove from heat and allow to cool. You can also transfer the drizzle in a container and freeze for 10 minutes if you want it to cool it immediately.

To assemble the cupcakes, make sure they cooled down as well as the frosting and honey drizzle. Pipe the buttercream frosting into the cupcakes and, using a spoon, drizzle the sauce on top.
