  • 1/2 cup King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon espresso powder, optional, for enhanced chocolate flavor
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Baker’s Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk powder
