This great recipe is brought to you by Tammy from yoyomax12 – the diet free zone on YouTube , thanks for sharing this recipe with us

This recipe makes about 1.5 dozen cookies, if you want more double the recipe.

1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt (I say 1/4 tsp of salt in the video, but that is wrong)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 large egg
1 cup all purpose flour

Glaze:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/6 of a cup (more or less) of maple syrup.
Add enough maple syrup to the powdered sugar to get a runny glaze.

Cookie instructions:
Cream together the butter and sugar. Add in the cinnamon and salt and blend, add in the egg and blend.
Add in the flour in 2-3 additions until combined.

Scoop out dough into tablespoon sized portions and roll into a ball.
Place balls in pre-heated waffle maker.
Cook for 2-3 minutes (depending on you waffle maker) until golden brown and firm.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
Dip tops of cooled cookies into the glaze, let the excess drip off and allow cookies to sit until glaze dries.
Store cookies at room temperature in a covered container.
