It is about now that we start to think about baking for the festive season and that is why I wanted to find you a cookie recipe but in doing so I found this amazing recipe fr 4 from one basic dough mix , these cookies look so good and i am sure will be enjoyed by all who eat them

Here below is a list of the ingredients you will need for each cookie recipe

Ingredients

Basic Sugar Cookie Dough:

• 1½ cups butter, softened
• ⅔ cups shortening
• 2½ cups granulated sugar
• ½ cup light brown sugar
• 4 eggs
• 4 tsp vanilla
• 4¾ cups flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt

Sugar Cookies:

• 2 cups basic sugar cookie dough
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 2 cups buttercream frosting and sprinkles, optional

Chocolate Cookies:

• 2 cups basic sugar cookie dough
• ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
• ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted for drizzle, optional

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies:

• 2 cups basic sugar cookie dough
• ½ cup white chocolate chips
• ½ cup dried cranberries

Peppermint Sugar Cookies:

• 2 cups basic sugar cookie dough
• 4 tbsp crushed candy canes
• 2 tbsp flour
• 2 cups peppermint buttercream frosting and extra crushed candy canes, optional
