A Healthy Caramel Recipe To Try out For These Slices That Are Vegan, Gluten free And Dairy Free

Love the look of these caramel recipe that is these healthy slices that look so good and of course you will see they are vegan,gluten and dairy free so everyone can enjoy this fantastic recipe together

This great recipe would be great to have with that cup of coffee mid morning or as a afternoon tea time treat ,or if you are like me any time of the day as they look so good

Here below is a list of the ingredients you will need to make this recipe from the website

Base
  1. ½ cup ground almonds
  2. ½ cup pecans (or any other nut)
  3. 2 tbsp coconut flour
  4. 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  5. 2 tbsp maple syrup (you can use another liquid sweetener like honey, rice syrup…etc)
  6. pinch salt
  7. ¼ tsp vanilla paste (optional)
Caramel layer
  1. 2 cups soft dates
  2. ¼ tsp salt
  3. 2 tbsp coconut oil
  4. 2 tbsp cashew butter (or you can use almond butter)
Chocolate layer
  1. ¼ cup coconut oil
  2. 2 tbsp cocoa (or use cacao powder to make them fully raw)
  3. 1 tbsp cashew butter (or you can use almond butter)
  4. 1 tbsp maple syrup
  5. To decorate I’m using some crushed activated almonds from Raw Ecstasy
