Plums are just coming in or are in season depending on the variety , so I was looking for that great dessert to make with them so here is a almond and plum pudding that is so prefect , you are bound to love it
This recipe reminds me of eve’s pudding that my Nan would make as it is fruit with sponge over the top , she would use apples hence the name Eve’s that is named as a reference to Eve and the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
This pudding uses the wonderful plum but you could use apples instead if you wish , i love both fruits with this dish as it is a real comfort type of dessert that will be loved by all
This recipe also has that great almond aspect too which combined with the fruit is so good this is found in the sponge with ground almonds and the flaked almond for decoration on top of the sponge
