I was looking for a recipe to share with you that used figs as this week is fig week so when I came across this recipe for date and fig fruit cake I thought it was the a perfect one to share as cake is always a popular to make especially a loaf type of cake
This cake is a really moist cake to make because of the wonderful fruits the dates and figs that makes it have a fantastic texture, I personally love the look of this cake and would quite happily spend the afternoon sitting relaxing with a slice of this cake with a cup of tea enjoying how wonderful it tastes as fruit cakes are a passion of mine
