Crust

3/ cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cake flour
1 tablespoon powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup firm butter, cut in 8 pieces
1/4 cup cold shortening, cut into 8 pieces
3 to 4 tablespoons buttermilk

Filling

1 1/3 cups sweetened shredded coconut
1 1/2 cups half-and-half
1 cup milk
1/2 cup canned cream of coconut (not coconut milk)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
8 egg yolks
1/4 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces
