What an amazing looking Swiss roll is this rainbow polka dot fresh cream and jam cake that is just fantastic you can add your own fruit of your choice as well to the filling it is up to you .. a really summer looking cake that once you cut it looks so great .. a really pretty cake that is a work of art and of course is yummy too ..

RECIPE:
For the dots
50 g unsalted butter, softened
50 g icing sugar, sifted
2 eggs whites
50 g plain flour, sifted
Food colouring (paste or liquid in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple)For the sponge
3 large free-range eggs, separated
80 g caster sugar
45 g unsalted butter, melted
75 g plain flour, sifted
½ tsp vanilla extractFor the filling
120ml double cream
Large blob of jam
