Yes that is right this recipe is for a chocolate chip cookie cake that looks so delicious that you just have to give it a go , when I found it is was one of those recipes that I had to share with us

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cups butter softened
1 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1- 16 oz (approx) tube of refrigerated chocolate chip cookie doughCombine the flour, salt and baking powder together in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
Cream the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
Add in vanilla and eggs one at at time blending after each addition.
Add in 1/3 of the the flour mixture and 1/3 of the milk alternately to the batter, blending in between additions. Repeat until all flour mixture and milk are blended in.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Spread 1/2 of the batter into the bottom of a greased 9×13″ baking dish.
Crumble one half of the chocolate chip cookie dough on top.
Spread the remaining cake batter on top.
Crumble remaining chocolate chip cookie dough on top.
Bake at 375F for about 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow to cool completely.
Spread frosting over top.Frosting Recipe
In a large bowl add 6 tbsp of softened butter and blend until smooth.
Blend in one cup of powdered sugar and then beat in 2 tbsp of milk or cream and 1 tsp vanilla. Blend in 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. Now blend in an additional 2 3/4 cups of powdered sugar.
If the mixture is too thick or dry looking, add in more milk one teaspoon at a time until frosting is the desired spreading consistency.Original recipe source:yoyomax12 – the diet free zone
