Home Made Honey Fudge Recipe

A really delicious fudge recipe to make that look so delicious and great candy to make for the festive season to share with family or friends , or maybe make it to give as presents by placing it into pretty bags

Here below is a list of the ingredients you will need to make this fudge plus how to make it

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 cup honey

 

  • Using a heavy bottom medium saucepan, place your sugar a milk and honey and dissolve the sugar over a medium  heat .
  • Grate your chocolate and add this to this to the pan along with the butter and salt , Keep  Stirring this mixture  over medium-low heat until well blended.
  • Now cover pan with a lid  and heat to boiling point. Boil to soft ball stage (238°F) on a candy thermometer.
  • Take the pan off the heat once it has reached this point and cool to lukewarm (110°F).  Add your flavouring now and stir in .
  • Beat  your fudge mixture until it has thickened and is no longer glossy; mixture should hold its shape when dropped from a spoon 
  • Grease with butter  9-inch square pan and mark squares for easy cutting late
  •  Refrigerate the fudge until it is set fully and then cut into your marked squares
