When I stumbled upon this recipe for chocolate honeycomb slice it was one of those recipes that you just have to share on because it is such a wonderful recipe that everyone should try
The pictures say it all a creamy looking filling with a crumb base and to be able to make it with just four ingredients that has got to be good
So looking into this recipe more closely it is so easy to make and will serve a large gathering of people as it does cut into 16 pieces

250 grams Malt Biscuits

4 4x 50g Violet Crumble Bars

600 mls Thickened Cream ( heavy cream)

395 grams Sweet Condensed Milk
If like me and you don’t know what violet bars are they are Australia’s favourite chocolate bars (Nestle Violet Crumble has a crunchy honeycomb centre which is covered by two layers of creamy chocolate.) then you could use Crunchie bars
Of course you could make your own bars which would be great for this recipe or just as a treat here below is a video tutorial showing you how

2 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
then
1 tablespoon of baking powder (in the version like a violet crumble)
1 tablespoon of bicarbonate soda (in the version like a crunchie bar)
