Childhood memories for this wonderful treacle tart recipe, when it would be a recipe my Nan would make for a weekend , I loved the smell of it cooking , that sweet treacle smell that would fill her kitchen was simply wonderful
I really have a fondness to the treacle tart it is one of those dessert that is homely and serve it with hot custard and you are certainly onto a winner in my eye although cream is just as good
