RECIPE: 2 egg whites; Â_ c. sugar; green & red food color; peppermint extract; Â_ c. Nutella. Bring pot of water to boil; set mixing bowl w/ egg whites & sugar over it. Whisk mixture over simmering water till slightly warm. Transfer to stand mixer; whip to stiff peaks. Divide. Add few drops peppermint extract to Â_. Swirl w/ red food color. Add green food color to other Â_. Transfer to piping bags, 1 fitted w/ star tip, one w/ round tip. Pipe peppermint kisses & Christmas trees onto parchment-lined sheet. Bake @ 175F 1-Â_ hrs. Sandwich kisses w/ Nutella before serving. Decorate trees as desired.
