What is so great about irish soda bread is that you can make it fairly easy as there is no kneading required so no waiting time as sodium bicarbonate is used as a leavening agent instead of the more common yeast in other types of bread
So this is a really wonderful bread to make that would be fantastic for breakfast or mid morning snack with butter and jam or even with soup or a stew .. a really easy versatile bread to make
