Here below is a list of the ingredients you will need to make this tea cake from the website
Makes one 9″ x 5″ loaf
- 1ounce bourbon
- 1tablespoon honey
- 1/4of a whole lemon, juiced
- 6ounces boiling water
- 1tea bag (Yorkshire Gold is my favorite)
- 1 cup assorted dried fruits (I use raisins, currants, tart cherries, cranberries)

- 1/2cup plain yogurt (I use nonfat Greek-style)
- 1large whole egg
- 1large egg yolk
- 1/8cup reserved soaking liquid
- 1 1/8cups all-purpose unbleached flour
- 1cup granulated sugar
- 1/4teaspoon kosher salt
- 1teaspoon baking powder
- Grated zest of one whole lemon
- 4ounces unsalted butter (1 stick), cut into small chunks, room temperature
- Confectioner’s sugar for the icing
