A Chocolate Glaze Frosting Recipe

This chocolate glaze frosting recipe is a great one to make for pound cakes or devil’s food cake and even cute chocolate cupcakes , I would so love it on ice cream as a sauce sounds like heaven to me

A really easy glaze to make so here for you below is a list of the ingredients you will need and how to make this glaze

Ingredients 

  • 6 tablespoons butter

  • 1cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1cup milk

  • 2 -2 1cups sifted confectioners’ sugar

Instructions on how to make this chocolate glaze

  1. In a small saucepan on a low heat melt the butter.
  2.  Now take the cocoa powder and stir it into the butter added the milk keep stirring, continue to cook the glaze, stirring it until it thickens and comes to a boil, for about 2 minutes.
  3.  Take the pan off the heat and then stir in 2 cups of confectioners’ sugar, of course you can add more adding more if needed to make the mixture smoother and a little thicker but don’t let the glaze get too thick.
  4.  You are no ready to decorate your cooled cake, cakes with the glaze, let glaze hardened before serving your cake, cakes
