A absolutely wonderful dessert that is a Traditional British pudding that we would have after a Sunday roast on a Sunday as it has that great crowd pleasing aspect about it , it puts a smile on peoples faces, serve it with custard for that traditional pudding feel or clotted cream or even ice cream if you prefer .. you won’t be disappointed

Ingredients
- 8 ripe plums, quartered and stoned
- pinch cinnamon
- zest 2 lemons
- 4 tbsp brandy (optional)
- 100g soft butter
- 100g light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100g self-raising flour
- 50g ground almonds
- 3 tbsp flaked almonds
- clotted cream, to serve
if you want to use apples I would use about 4 large apples or 5 smaller ones ( these are cooking apples )
