On coming across this recipe for coffee cake I really loved this recipe as you will see the cake is so moist and is cut into squares once baked with makes it an ideal cake to make for packed lunches etc , that is why it has the name “Back to school” old fashioned coffee cake .
A really delightful recipe that would be great to have with that cup of tea also in the afternoon too
