With it being National Apricot Day I wanted to find you a recipe that you could make that will serve a few people so that everyone can enjoy this amazing fruit in a bake

I really love the taste of apricots they are so delicious and in this dump cake they shine , just like Bev Cooks  who’s recipe this is  I am not quite sure is I like the name that this cake has been called either but it does taste rather could so you can’t knock that

INGREDIENTS

1 pound fresh apricots, pitted and thinly sliced
1 cup sugar
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
3 whole eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (15.25 ounce) box Betty Crocker™ SuperMoist™ vanilla cake mix
1 1/2 sticks melted butter
3/4 cup Cascadian Farm™ organic apricot fruit spread
12 dollops whipped cream

 

 

 

You could use dried or tinned apricots  if you prefer so you can make this cake whenever you wish
