It’s not the holidays without sheet pan upon sheet pan of cookies. For the most cliche filling, choose red and green jam options.
Ingredients
- 2/3cup butter, softened
- 1/2cup sugar
- 2egg yolks
- 1teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2cups all-purpose flour
- 2egg whites, lightly beaten
- 1cup finely chopped walnuts, hazelnuts, or pecans
- 1/3 – 1/2cup jam or preserves, chocolate-hazelnut spread, and/or desired-flavor fruit curd
