Love making cookies for your family or friends? Then there is a great recipe I want to share with you. You can make these delicious Dutch cookies with just a few ingredients from your pantry. See below recipe and enjoy baking!
Ingredients for Dutch Cookies
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
2 cups plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup mini chocolate chips
How to Make Dutch Cookies
In a large bowl, add softened butter, shortening, vanilla extract and granulated sugar. Mix and then add a pinch of salt together with the flour and baking soda. Mix until well combined. Form small balls using approximately one tablespoon of the mixture, but if you like big ones, you can do two tablespoons. Get a fork and gently press the balls to flatten them a bit. Pop them in an oven at about 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. Take them out from the oven and while still hot, put the chocolate chips on top and let them melt. Using a knife, spread the chocolate.
